| wine glass cloth coaster |

I\'m looking for an item I purchased many years ago while living in the Philippines. It is a cloth \"bootie\" that slips onto the base of a wine or drink glass, and catches the condensation/drips. This precludes the needs for a cocktail napkin.
Any idea where I might find something like that?

I am looking for the same thing...the ones I have seen are square with a little slit cut across the top so the wine glass base can slip into it. Great for spills, and also to identify which glass belongs to which wine drinker!

I saw this cloth coaster last night at a friends house. Came home and made one but rather have the exact pattern if possible. I made my sample from 5 4" squares(4 are folded in half and form the top section sewn across each other to leave a slit in the middle then sewn onto the 5th square. Turn right side out. But the bottom needed a thicker base. Thought about using felt. Does anyone have a pattern and materials used?
