I am having a polka dot themed wedding, but can\'t seem to find a lot of cute things to go with it. When I say things, I mean a wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, favors, ties for my groom, and his groomsmen, ect. If there\'s anyone that may have some suggestions, I would highly apprieciate it. If not thanx anyway.

I think some items I found in the Home Goods store would make cute centerpieces for the tables.....I am doing my daughter's room in black and white polka dots (and B&W gingham too) and I found lots of ceramic containers (like pitchers and vases etc.) in black and white polka dots. Consider also having white or black table cloths hand stenciled or painted with large dots!!! Round placements in black or white (or both) would be good too. Black and white cloth napkins can be made from fabric yardage.....same goes for table cloths....the fabric is easy to find. You might also buy some to have the dresses made, maybe simple strapless A-line or straight dresses. Chair back covers, or chair sashes in lack and white fabric. Round wedding cake with every other layer in black or white. Wedding invitations in dotted theme! Polka dot wedding shoes. Polka dot hosiery! Dotted swiss wedding veil. Dotted tulle netting for decorating the room. Black and white candles (can even add dots to those). UH I assumed you were doing black and white dots but now I just read your post and you do not mention color....but I do think the B&W is the most formal and all other colors look more juvenile to me (my daughter's B&W room is getting geared for her as a teenager.) I have also seen lots of B&W dotted ribbons in craft stores. The favors can be dotted frames with a picture of you and new husband (pre-wedding) wearing B&W polka dot outfits! If you use B&W all the colors will match on everything and no need to stress about matching pinks or blues etc. You could also do a black dress wedding for the bridesmaids...I know this sounds grim but I have seen an all black wedding and the girls look classy and can use the dress afterwards!!! Flowers are white.....and you could add dotted sashes (easily removed later) and dotted ribbons to the flower bouquets. YOUR dress is white of course!!!! Just do the dotted theme in white on white for your items. I love the polka dot theme idea for a wedding!!!! Hope I gave you some ideas.

My daughter is having a black and white polka dot wedding with red accents. She found black and white polka dot dresses a davids bridal. She found Big polka dot candles at hobby lobby for centerpieces.

I have the cutest dress and it would make a darling bridesmaid dress. It's from "Glitz". I's black with large white dots.It came with a red sash tie at the waist,but that could be changed to white.Looks sharp with black heels.It has the netting under the skirt so it stands out like the old fashion dress up dress's. It's the cutest thing ever! I love polka dots and this would be PERFECT!
